Inverter's use a method of DC to AC conversion in order to function and converter DC current to AC current. The inverter is used to trasmit and distribute electric power to connected devices. In a Single Phase Inverter the connection is made using current waveform, which varies between current and time. Using a single phase inverter will power the connected devices through a single phase. ie. figure below
